Hibachi: Reviews & Ratings

We always have fun when we eat here. The chefs doing the hibachi cooking are very entertaining and put on a great show while actually looking our dinner in front of us! I had the teriyaki chicken & salmon combo, which also came with a salad and fried rice. I love the little fire volcano the chef makes by stacking onions, adding a bunch of cooking oil, and then lighting it up! And what the chef was doing was hilarious when chucking pieces of shrimp or chicken into the mouths of waiting patrons!

Oh wow! I didn't know what to expect but I was so pleasantly surprised. I did AYCE, and it didn't disappoint, quite the contrary. Everything was so fresh and tasty. I am glad I discovered this place as a new destination for me. Ond of the best egg rolls I've ever had, perfectly balanced, you can see the filling and taste it. There are two sides, I guess you must make it clear if you will do AYCE all you can eat sushi and more. Otherwise, the other side (really nicer one if you ask me is for a la carte restaurant). But my experience was amazing; food and service were superb, albeit very quiet, but I didn't mind. they actually preferred to enjoy each sushi bite. There is plenty off street parking and an easy Downingtown location.

I am visiting from out of town and needed a late night meal we got here at around 8:40PM and our food was treated the same as if we were here at lunch time! Nick was our chef and the food is amazing!! If you are from out of town and used to Kobe’s it is on par either them even slightly better I would say. In the events I visit again I will be eating here! For my rice people: I ordered the Shrimp Teriyaki, more rice instead of vegetables. I had the portions in the pic AND another extra bowl of rice! (Also note I ate some of my shrimp before I took this picture.) Overall: 10/10 loved everything about this experience!

Really great chefs at this teppanyaki restaurant!! I really love the decor around the teppanyaki areas and theres even a tatami room for private seatings! I really love the koi pond especially in the lobby, and there's also tables and a bar for you to wait for your teppanyaki table! All the materials used in this building look high quality and the fact there is many koi fish in the pond really adds to the ambiance! I really liked the fact you can order noodles too for a extra charge. The veggies they cook are really good too and of course they use butter to cook everything! I also loved their sushis too, well except the tempura roll... Service was also friendly and quick! And seems like they have very experienced chefs here working here for over 20+ years! Overall I'd like to come back to try more of their other teppanyaki options!

Many years have passed since my last visit, but the restaurant still looks clean and modern. Kids enjoy watching coy swim in the lobby area around a pretty fountain. Their bar makes excellent drinks and the staff is super friendly and professional. You might end up with another party in the rooms food is prepared, but there's plenty of room. Food is made by chefs right in front of you. It's quite a show. The food is excellent. People can get loud when the chef tries to pitch a piece of meat in your mouth, so if you want a quiet dining experience, choose another restaurant. Definitely worth going.

Went here with friends later in the evening on a weekend night. There was little wait when we went. The chef was very entertaining, could read the room well, and made a lot of humorous jokes! The chef would throw shrimp in people's mouths and he used broccoli for the vegetarian. The food tasted good, better with the sauces, and the entertainment provided by the chef made it very much worth it
